February 2 - What's Glowing On?

Glow Ministry, led by Grace member Samantha Harris and Naoko Uechi is entering their 10th year of working to share the love of Jesus with the Japanese community in our area as well as in Japan! Glow provides a variety of pathways to the guests that attend. These pathways all lead to Christ! Glow Kids, led by Grace member, Rachel McEachron launched in January, Glow & Learn, a class that meets three times a month and offers ESL and Bible teaching will kick-off on February 14, Glow 1:1, a program that partners one Christian with one Japanese lady for Bible study meets years round but will have a gathering on March 6 at the home of the program leader, Grace member, Fiona Thiessen. All of these offerings and more are blending together and are leading people to Christ! Andrew + Kristen Wallenhaupt

Andrew grew up at Grace Church.  In 2017 he moved to Australia as a short-term missionary with YWAM. Feeling called by God to long-term missions in 2021, he has continued his commitment in Australia.  In July of 2023, Andrew married Kristen Kujawa.  Together they will continue serving with YWAM. Andrew has most recently worked in the Kimberley region of Australia. Having worked with youth in regions suffering from depression, addiction, and poor mental health and high suicide rates, Andrew is currently studying nursing in Broome, Australia with the goal of being more effective in ministry. Kristen serves in leadership with YWAM's performing arts ministry, Island Breeze.  
Ways You Can Pray:

• Newly married and learning how to bring our two lives together to do ministry. 
• Health. Kristen's health has been one challenge after another. Please pray for a breakthrough and wisdom on what to do. 
• Financial needs. For us not to be stressed and to trust God. We also need wisdom on how to build and steward what God has given us.
