October 13 - Not My Plans But God's Plans

"After retiring from nursing, I had plans for myself.  Proverbs 19:21 says, "Many are the plans in a man's (woman's) heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails. What the Lord had planned for me is much better! Volunteering brings a gift of life to others which in return brings life to the volunteer. I am thankful for the lives that God gives all of us!"
