Vogel 2024

Welcome to the Grace Annual Outdoors Weekend at
Vogel State Park!

Welcome to the Grace Annual Outdoors Weekend! Every year, we move Grace Church for a weekend in the mountains of Vogel. Nestled in the heart of the Chattahoochee National Forest, Vogel State Park, one of Georgia’s oldest parks and favorite destinations, offers many opportunities for you and your family in a diverse mountain landscape. If you want to learn more about Vogel State Park, check them out here.
START HERE:
  • Check out the lodging descriptions on the Vogel website. Also, you can ask a Grace friend where they are staying and offer to share a site with them.
  • Complete the registration form to select your cottage/campsite. The fee is due when you register and if you have any trouble with registration, please contact Margie Gardner.
  • Because GPS is not always reliable in the mountains, please print the directions before you leave.
Vogel is located at :
7485 Vogel State Park Road, Blairsville, GA.

  • Vogel check-in is between 1 pm and 10 pm. Just stop in at the front office when you arrive, and they will get you set up.
  • Friday: Dinner together at 6:30 PM in the Group Shelter.

So many possibilities:
  • Blood Mountain Hike with Sue McCabe
  • Bear Hair Hike
  • Kayaking
  • Kick Ball Game
  • Worship by the Lake
  • Family Dinners and Fireside chats

  • Sunday morning is set aside to prepare for departure. Check-out is any time before 1 PM but you can still take part in the park amenities after you check out.
Note: We will NOT be having worship services at the Grace building on Sunday, Sep 8th. Plan to join us at Vogel instead…

We understand that finances might be an obstacle for some families. We want to partner with you to help you join in the weekend! If you need assistance, please connect with us!
See you at Vogel!
