Generations  Together

"We Empower Kinship caregivers with an understanding that enables them to act in the best interests of the children in their care"

Who We Are

Across the United States, nearly 8 million children are living in homes with grandparents or other relatives.  In Fayette County alone, more than 1000 grandparents have made the life changing decision to raise a child.  Generations Together exists to assist in the successful development of children being raised by grandparents or other relatives.

What We Do

Generations Together seeks to provide developmental support, advocacy, resources, support groups and tangible assistance to families raising grandchildren and kin.

How Can I Be Involved?

The monthly support group for Generations Together meets at Grace Church where members of our congregation serve as encouraging mentors and prayer partners.  Grace also provides opportunities for our congregation to host special events or collect food or gift items to support the Generations Together families.
