Who We Are
Under the leadership of long-time Grace members, Eddie and Kay Rew, Camp Icthus held its first summer camp in 1988. With the goal of encouraging a growing relationship with God in an outdoor recreation setting, thousands of kids have come through Camp Icthus over the past 35 years. With great joy, the Rew's and their staff have seen God work in mighty ways in the hearts of their campers. From first encounters with God, to deepening faith, to sharing faith with others, the whole program is designed to equp campers to know, love and serve Jesus.
What We Do
Over the year, the summer highlight for dozens of Grace Church kids has been a week spent at Camp Icthus! Located in the north Georgia mountains, campers spend a week away from the “modern distractions” of our culture and enjoy activities such as swimming, fishing, playing games, meeting new friends and just having fun. At the same time, they are learning about a real and personal relationship with God. Camp Icthus has a counselor/camper ratio of approximately 1:10.
